I really enjoyed the discussion you and your guest had. As an American who has never been out of the U.S. except for a couple of one night stays over the border in Canada, I always find the viewpoint of people from Europe, who study U.S. politics and culture, fascinating. I was especially struck by Mr. Von Hoffmeister's comment that, having spent 12 years in both Russia and the U.S., he felt that free speech experienced at the level of the ordinary citizen in Russia was the same as that in America, both higher than in the rest of Europe. Five stars to this episode!
