Arthur Kwon Lee is the most cancelled fine artist in the world. He is most known for revitalizing Christian imagery with a hyper-masculine aesthetic, as a challenge to the rampant degeneracy of the modern world.
Four years ago, Lee was riding high in the contemporary art scene. He exhibited his art in Tokyo, Milan, South Korea, Mexico City, Berlin and at Art Basel Miami, and his dynamism, exquisite ability to render human anatomy and use of explosive color harmonies won him the award of 2020 Artist of the Year in New York City. Lee was set for stardom.
But within six months of his triumph, he was blacklisted by many of the top art galleries for refusing to play along with the ultra-liberal political agenda at work in the art world. He refused to be controlled. Today, he works independently and continues to fight in the culture with both his brush and voice.
