Can't Make an Omelette
Don't believe the leftist sound and fury about ICE
Can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.
Can’t deport 20 million illegals without pissing off a few libtards.
Maybe they don’t have quite the same ring, but the logic holds. This was never going to be easy. I knew, you knew—we all did.
It was obvious Trump’s much-heralded plan to deport every single illegal alien in the United States—or at least a significant proportion of that total—would be met with serious resistance if it ever came to pass.
Screaming, shouting, angry Tweets, protests at Hollywood award ceremonies and, of course, violence on the streets. Killings, even.
Despite what naysayers and blackpillers and paid agents of chaos on Twitter will tell you, Trump’s plan is being implemented.
Hundreds of billions of dollars have been allocated for immigration enforcement. Thousands of troops line the southern border with Mexico, and tens of thousands of acres have been turned into military reserves subject to special jurisdiction. The wall is under construction again. For all intents and purposes, the border is totally closed.
No-one’s getting through.
Meanwhile, ICE and CBP agents, sometimes backed up by National Guard soldiers and even the Marines, launch raids deep into “enemy” territory—into sanctuary cities like Chicago, Los Angeles and, currently, Minneapolis—and snatch illegals off the streets, from their homes and their workplaces.
The raids started with the worst of the worst—the murderers, the rapists, the drug dealers and gang members—but now agents are picking up common garden illegals, the run-of-the-mill variety found at your local Home Depot, who are criminals all the same, let’s not forget.
For the first time in 50 years, we learned this week, the US has net-negative immigration.
We can disagree about the precise numbers. We can say more people need to be deported to meet President Trump’s ambitious goal. They do: More people need to be deported, faster. But it’s hard to argue, at least in good faith, that the Trump administration isn’t trying. Really trying.
Remember: Nothing like this has ever been attempted before. Sure, there was the charmingly titled Operation Wetback under President Eisenhower, but that sent maybe two million Mexicans, at most, back the other side of the Rio Grande where they belong. Thirty years later, Ronald Reagan looked at the problem of three million illegals and simply gave up, granting amnesty to them and helping set the stage for the grand crisis America faces today.
Under President Biden, all the formidable resources of the federal government were turned towards bringing the huddled masses of the Turd World into the US: as many as possible, as quickly as possible. The US government became an importation machine, flying Haitians and Nicaraguans directly into the Midwest, on US planes, on the US taxpayer dime. Such a machine can’t be reprogrammed overnight.
The left’s reaction to what Trump is doing is proof positive it’s real.
Of course, there’s a pantomime element to the reaction—Trump isn’t really Hitler, JD Vance isn’t Hermann Goering, and ICE isn’t the Gestapo either—but it’s also in deadly earnest.
The why is pretty clear. Mass immigration is an existential issue for the modern left, perhaps more than any other. Without mass immigration, the leftist project collapses. Kaput.
The left gave up a century ago on the workers’ revolution and now prefers to turn the world upside down by importing hordes of foreigners, cultivating them as captive voting blocs, fattening them on welfare, allowing them to get away with murder—literally—and making conditions in Western countries so nightmarish for the native population they become utterly demoralized and accept their fate—to be replaced—with little more than a sigh and a wistful glance at the country they left behind. Segments of the right have acquiesced with this plan too, for reasons we don’t need to go into.
So the left is fighting hard right now and even, in the case of Renee Good—the Minnesota dyke who thought she could drive an SUV into ICE agents without repercussion—dying for the grand dream of erasing every last American from America.
